Optical properties:
Higher gain is achieved by using a special coating that reflects light over a smaller viewing area. Light rays projected on the screen will be reflected like in a mirror. Thus light arriving at a certain angle from the left will bounce off the screen at an equal and opposite angle to the right.
 

Applications:
Reflective screen fabrics have been developed for projection applications which require both a wide viewing angle and enhanced gain. Higher gain is welcome if there is a great deal of ambient light or if low output projectors are used. Because of the reflective property, this screen fabric is especially suitable for applications in which the projector is mounted to the ceiling.
